Description This role is for someone who excels at explaining intricate technical information to the non-technical user. Motivated candidates with effective problem-solving abilities will be preferred for this position. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / contract / temporary in nature and is based in the Lewisville, Texas, area.

Responsibilities

• Administer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures

• Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions

• Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities

• Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

• hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors

• Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals

• Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters Requirements - Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals

• Desktop support or related experience

• Engineering experience highly preferred

• Computer Hardware experience desired

• Printer Hardware experience highly desired

• Hands-on experience with Deployments

• Customer service experience desired

• Configuration management experience highly valued

• Comprehension of Windows OS

• Demonstrated knowledge of Hiring Processes

• Experience with Backup Technologies

• Prior experience with Onsite

• Strong familiarity with Peripheral Equipment

• Knowledge of Ticketing System

• About Time experience

• Earlier work involving Deskside Support

• Good understanding of C-Suite

• Previous experience working with Queries

• Documentation experience required

• Background working with Microsoft Windows

• Adeptness in Workstation Support

• Scheduling experience preferred

• Practical knowledge of Troubleshoot

• Foundational knowledge in PC OS

• Coordination experience preferred

• General familiarity with Shipping Functions
