Description
We are in search of a Payroll Administrator based in Lewisville, Texas, to join our finance team. This role encompasses a range of tasks including administering payroll, managing accounts payable, and monitoring temporary staff time and benefit deductions.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and process payroll for all employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Verify and audit timekeeping records for contract staff to ensure proper payment.
• Monitor and manage deductions for employee benefits, ensuring accurate calculation and timely processing.
• Enter and code Accounts Payable (AP) invoices accurately into the accounting system.
• Reconcile AP transactions and ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors regarding payments and invoices.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of time and attendance for temporary staff.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Requirements
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge and experience in Benefit Functions
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online
• Experience with bill.com
• Knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Previous experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
• Excellent understanding of payroll and taxes
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
