Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Lexington, Kentucky

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in LEXINGTON, Kentucky, 40511-1386, United States. You will be responsible for structuring, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, providing legal review, advice and support on a broad range of legal matters, and establishing trusted advisor relationships with the business leadership team. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Structure, draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements such as sourcing arrangements, distribution and logistics, information technology, and marketing

• Engage in detail oriented services agreements, nondisclosure agreements and coordinate with International in-house lawyers in relation to global contracts, relationships, inter-company/intra-company and special purpose entity transactions

• Provide legal review, advice, and support on a broad range of legal matters including strategic transactional documents, commercial contracting, licensing, quality and operations, transactional and general corporate matters

• Advise internal clients on contract interpretation, dispute resolution, risk allocation and other legal matters

• Educate internal business teams on contract terms, negotiation best practices, commercial implications, and business risk

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with the business leadership team

• Handle additional assignments and responsibilities as needed. Requirements • Must be a experience in attorney with a license to practice law

• Proven experience in commercial contracts, and drafting agreements and contracts

• Exceptional knowledge of commercial law and corporate governance

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle cases with diplomacy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in legal research and ability to stay updated with legislation changes

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High ethical standards and detail oriented integrity

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
