Our Client, a leading firm in the central Kentucky area , is seeking a dedicated Staff Auditor to join our dynamic team. As a Staff Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial records and processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and gain valuable experience in auditing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Audits: Execute financial, operational, and compliance audits according to established standards and procedures.
Evaluate Controls: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
Review Documentation: Review financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Perform Testing: Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to validate financial information and detect anomalies or irregularities.
Communicate Findings: Prepare clear and concise audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions for management review and decision-making.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and compliance, to address audit findings and implement solutions.
Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in auditing practices to maintain relevance and ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CIA certification preferred.
1-3 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
