We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Central Kentucky, in the accounting industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounting processes for multiple clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. This role also includes tax preparation responsibilities, client management, and continuous improvement of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting processes for multiple clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Maintain organized and accurate financial records for clients using accounting software.

• Prepare individual, business, and corporate tax returns accurately and in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

• Identify tax deductions, credits, and liabilities to minimize clients' tax obligations while ensuring compliance.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding accounting and tax-related inquiries.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing their financial needs.

• Ensure all financial transactions and tax filings comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Full Charge Bookkeeping is mandatory for this role.

• Demonstrated expertise in Annual Tax is required.

• Candidates must possess strong skills in 10-Key Accounting.

• Experience in Tax Accounting is a crucial requirement for this position.

• Applicants should have a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

• Candidates must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is necessary.

• Candidates should be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines is required.

• A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
