Robert Half Investment Analyst in Lexington, Kentucky
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Investment Analyst in the manufacturing industry, based in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. The role involves conducting feasibility studies, cash flow analysis, and financial health evaluation of investment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating internal reports, coordinating investment decisions, and supporting business units in matters related to investment proposals.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct feasibility study analysis for investment projects from a financial and strategic standpoint.
• Develop cash flow models and perform cash flow analysis to evaluate return on investment.
• Report on the material impacts of different business scenarios on feasibility studies.
• Evaluate the financial health of the company by analyzing Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Create internal reports to support the company’s decision-making process.
• Collaborate with various department heads and managers to make recommendations to assist in the decision-making process.
• Evaluate enterprise value by building financial models.
• Guide business units to the correct approval procedure in line with the company’s authorization rule.
• Assist business units in coordinating investment decisions in accordance with company policy.
• Support business units in preparing investment proposal materials for Investment Committee and Board of Directors.
• Coordinate with other groups in subsidiaries’ matters such as data collection, variance analyses, Impairment analyses, and fair value analyses for cost method companies. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with Bloomberg Terminal and Capital IQ.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Demonstrated skills in Capital Management.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong Client Relations.
• Experience in conducting thorough Due Diligence.
• Knowledge and understanding of Equity Capital.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications or professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
