We are offering an opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the Hi-Tech Engineering manufacturing industry, based in Central, Kentucky. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy of payroll data and handling various payroll activities across multiple states. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining employee confidence by keeping payroll information confidential.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process payroll for employees across multiple states, including the calculation of payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and deductions.
• Review and verify employee time cards and ensure accurate data entry into the payroll system.
• Respond to employees' questions and concerns regarding payroll matters in a timely manner.
• Process changes in payroll, such as new hires, promotions, transfers, and other employee changes.
• Issue statements detailing earnings and deductions to employees.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
• Run various reports from our payroll/HRIS system as needed.
• Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job title and department/division transfers.
• Calculate employee federal and state income taxes, FICA taxes, and short term disability payments.
• Ensure adherence to payroll policies and procedures and report any necessary changes.
Requirements • Possess proficiency in Benefits Payroll
• Experienced in Automated Payroll
• Proficient in HR Payroll System
• Ability to handle Full Cycle Payroll
• Experience in managing Multi-state Payroll
• Knowledgeable in Local Payroll Tax
• Ability to handle Multistate Payroll
• Comprehensive understanding of Payroll
• Proficiency in Payroll - Multi-State
• Experienced in managing Payroll for over 500 Employees
• Ability to Process Payroll effectively
• Experience in processing Biweekly Payroll
• Proficient in processing Bi-weekly Payroll
