Robert Half SEC Reporting Manager in Lexington, Kentucky

Description

We are in search of a SEC Reporting Manager to join our client's team. As a SEC Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports, overseeing stock-based compensation accounting, and ensuring compliance with applicable internal controls and accounting principles and policies. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports on Form 10-Q/K

• Oversee and manage stock-based compensation accounting, including detailed tracking of equity awards and monthly expense journal entries

• Review and maintain the monthly basic and diluted EPS calculation

• Ensure compliance with applicable internal controls and accounting principles and policies

• Conduct GAAP research and prepare memos to document and communicate the accounting treatment of various accounting and reporting matters throughout the year

• Assist in the completion and review of other external reporting requirements during the year

• Prepare monthly cash flow statements

• Review XBRL tagging for Form 10-Q/K

• Assist with the preparation and review of the quarterly earnings release

• Manage and oversee the accounting analysis of new grants and equity account reconciliations and rollforward

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC Reporting and Compliance

• Proven expertise in EPS, Documentation, and SEC Regulations

• Familiarity with Stock Compensation and Workiva

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
