In the Senior Accountant role, you will support the company's goals by preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, preparing audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day
Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP Requirements - Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Outstanding analytical, quantitative and social skills
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Strong attention to detail
Deep understanding of auditing
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation experience preferred
Sales tax experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Efficient in ERP systems
Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
