Description
Robert Half is looking for an entry level Accountant for a client in the Lincoln, NE area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures. This role will involve assisting with various accounting tasks, including but not limited to bookkeeping, financial reporting, and data entry. This is a permanent full time opportunity.
Assist in maintaining financial records by accurately recording day-to-day transactions.
Perform data entry tasks to input financial information into accounting software.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports under the guidance of senior accountants.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable records.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience
Familiarity with Excel and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
Proficient with accounting systems and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
