Robert Hals is looking for an Accounting Generalist for a client in the Healthcare sector, based in Lincoln, Nebraska. This role involves coordinating all accounting and financial reporting functions. This is a permanent full-time opportunity!

Responsibilities:

• Enter data and prepare invoices for payment, ensuring appropriate capitalization for assets

• Conduct check runs in a timely manner as per established guidelines

• Reconcile accounts payable and fixed asset general ledger accounts

• Assure timeliness and appropriateness of monthly accruals

• Provide support and assistance during annual audits

• Utilize various computerized and manual systems effectively in performing job duties

• Prepare journal entries and maintain accounting work papers for preparation of financial statements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Proficient in performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

• Demonstrated ability in maintaining General Ledger accounts and ensuring accurate financial data.

• Expertise in preparing Journal Entries and adjusting entries as needed.

• Experience in managing Month End Close processes to finalize financial reports within deadlines.

• Experience in performing Cash Reconciliations to verify the accuracy of cash transactions.
