Description
Robert Half's legal client has new IT Operations Analyst role. To thrive in this position, you will need to be a self-starter, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in an innovative environment. You will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to computer systems, hardware, and software within the organization. Located in the Omaha, Nebraska, area, this role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to users experiencing computer hardware, software, and networking issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, either in person or remotely.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software.
Set up and configure computer peripherals and network equipment.
Assist in the maintenance and upgrading of existing systems and software.
Meet project deadlines.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2+ years of relevant work experience.
Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, hardware, and software.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Office 365 experience.
Familiarity troubleshooting printers.
Familiarity with AV for conference rooms.
Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and software.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate) is a plus.
