Description
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to join our clients team in Lincoln, Nebraska. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives that support the organization. You will oversee areas such as payroll, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, and talent management, among others.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement human resources strategies that align with the organization's goals
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements and stay informed about existing and upcoming legislation
• Manage human resource operations, including recruitment, training, coaching, and counseling of department employees
• Develop and manage performance improvement programs and disciplinary action processes in compliance with organizational goals and employment laws
• Design and manage benefit plans that align with industry trends and provide a competitive total rewards package for employees
• Establish and manage objectives, accountabilities, and priorities for the human resources department in alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance requirements
• Support management throughout the organization by providing human resources advice and guidance
• Oversee the implementation of HR initiatives and programs in areas such as payroll, benefits, health and wellness, safety, employee relations, staffing, talent management and development, and employment law compliance
• Develop internal communication plans in alignment with organizational direction, initiatives, and changes
• Research and develop budget requirements for human resources initiatives, planning project scope and design based on available financial resources
• Create and maintain tools, templates, and processes to assist managers as they onboard, manage, and develop employees
• Develop, monitor, and appraise human resource department workloads, priorities, and contributions.
Requirements • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Human Resources field, preferably within the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in utilizing ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.
• Expertise in using the Ceridian platform.
• Strong knowledge in HCM (Human Capital Management) systems.
• Demonstrated experience in executing Benefit Functions.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage compliance within the HR function.
• Extensive experience in dealing with Employee Relations.
• Proficiency in managing Hiring Processes, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Solid background in Human Resources (HR) Administration.
