If you have the ability to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close, you will be preferred for this position. In this role, you will participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. We're looking for people who have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.
Responsibilities
Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries
Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested
Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable
Organize schedules for monthly payments and capital lease
Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision
Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting
In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts
Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation
Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation
Manage intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation
Play a part in a variety of department-wide initiatives Requirements - Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Vow to meet business deadlines
Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Analyze Financial Statements experience required
General familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Solid understanding of payroll
Adeptness in Prepare Financial Statements
Monthly Financial Statements experience highly desired
Deep understanding of Financial Statement
Financial statement preparation experience preferred
3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Proficient in ERP systems
Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
