Description
We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor role based in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The job function primarily involves overseeing and managing collections activities, providing team guidance, handling customer inquiries, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team in a thriving telecom provider industry.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the process of following up with customers on overdue payments
• Implement effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt
• Preserve positive customer relations during the collection process
• Provide direction and guidance to the team to foster a productive environment
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve disputes professionally
• Nurture positive relationships with our clients
• Invest in the growth and development of team members by providing mentorship and support
• Identify opportunities for streamlining Accounts Receivable processes and enhancing operational efficiency
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements that drive tangible results
• Utilize skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, Accounting Functions, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Cash Activity, and Collection Processes.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ERP Solutions
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)
• Competency in IBM AS/400
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Understanding of Billing Functions
• Ability to manage Cash Activity
• Knowledge of Collection Processes
