Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Lincolnwood, Illinois

Description We are in search of a diligent and skilled Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Lincolnwood, Illinois. This role involves responsibilities such as recruiting, onboarding, managing benefits, handling labor relations, reviewing payroll, coordinating risk management, conducting training, developing policies, and providing supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing and onboarding new hires

• Implement and manage employee benefits programs to ensure they meet the needs of our employees

• Handle collective bargaining and labor relations issues, working to resolve disputes and maintain a positive work environment

• Conduct regular payroll reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements

• Coordinate risk management activities, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them

• Develop and conduct employee training programs to enhance skills and productivity

• Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring they align with company objectives and legal requirements

• Supervise HR team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they effectively perform their duties

• Utilize HR Management Systems (HRMS) such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to streamline HR processes

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to HR activities. Requirements • Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager or similar role in the HR field

• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATS)

• Strong understanding of Ceridian and HRMS systems

• Experience with time tracking software such as 'About Time'

• Comprehensive knowledge of benefit functions and compensation administration

• Demonstrated understanding of compliance laws and regulations in HR

• Proven expertise in managing employee relations

• Experience in conducting recruiting activities and overall recruiting process

• Knowledge of labor relations and laws

• Proven experience in payroll administration

• Strong ability to develop, implement, and manage HR policies

• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field. Higher degree or HR certification would be a plus.
