Description

Robert Half HR Solutions is currently partnering with a client in the Lithia Springs area that is looking to add a Human Resources Director to their team. The Human Resources Director will lead and manage their HR functions in a newly created position supporting over 400 corporate and field employees across 7 locations. In this role, you will be responsible for structuring their HR department, identifying and rectifying gaps in HR processes and strategy, as well as overseeing performance management, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, reporting, and compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of HR team: Manage a team of two direct reports to ensure efficient operation of the HR department across all locations.

  • Function Development: Establish and build out robust HR processes and procedures aligned with company objectives.

  • Strategic HR Management: Identify gaps in current HR processes and strategy and develop effective solutions.

  • Performance Management: Implement effective employee performance management processes.

  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations and provide guidance on complex or sensitive HR issues.

  • Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce.

  • Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.

  • Benefits Administration: Oversee administration of employee benefits programs.

  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure HR policies comply with federal, state, and local requirements and oversee accurate HR reporting and recordkeeping.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the Construction industry.

  • HR Certifications are a strong plus (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams.

  • Strong communication and strategic thinking skills.
