Robert Half International Support Technician II in LITITZ, Pennsylvania
Support Technician that is self motivated and team player.
Intermediate knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and troubleshooting; win7/win10
• Intermediate understanding of Enterprise/ITIL-compliant ticketing systems; Primarily ServiceDesk Plus or ServiceNow
• Intermediate understanding of networking; TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
• Intermediate understanding of security permissions and how they are applied
• Intermediate understanding of mobile devices, primarily iOS
• Basic understanding of Office365 Management
• Basic understanding of MDM (Mobile Device Management – Meraki SM/MS Intune)
• Basic understanding of SIP/VoIP
Ability to travel regionally less than 10%
Experience in one or more programming or scripting language
3+ years' of experience supporting desktop/server operating systems and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, Exchange and VMware
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- This job will often be easier if you have ITIL certification
In this role, the candidate will be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
Strong problem-solving skills
Foundational knowledge in DNS
Deep understanding of DHCP
Experience with Microsoft Office 365
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Windows 7 in an Active Directory environment
Root Cause Analysis experience desired
General familiarity with MDM Technologies
Adeptness in MS Windows 10
TCP/IP experience required
Technical skills to serve as escalation point for handling incidents and service requests related to application, operating system and other service related problems
