Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Little Rock, Arkansas

Description We are recruiting for the role of Accounts Receivable Clerk to be based in Little Rock, Arkansas. The individual will join our team and provide vital support in managing and tracking financial transactions. This role will require a keen eye for detail, an ability to manage multiple tasks, and a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer credit records.

• Proactively follow up on overdue invoices and ensure they are accurately entered into the general ledger.

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections - Commercial to manage and resolve customer inquiries.

• Ensure the timely and successful resolution of customer issues relating to accounts receivable.

• Utilize financial software to keep track of customer account details.

• Prepare and present reports on accounts receivable status and activities.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve set objectives and targets.

• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations that may affect the accounts receivable process. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must-have for this role

• Prior experience in commercial collections is highly desired

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong analytical skills to accurately compile and interpret data

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
