Job Summary: The IT Service Desk Help position is responsible for providing first-level technical support to end-users. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving a wide range of technical issues, as well as escalating more complex problems to higher-level support when necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of IT systems, and a dedication to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Provide timely and effective solutions to technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to users.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.

  • Maintain accurate records of all support requests, issues, and solutions using a ticketing system.

  • Follow up with users to ensure their IT needs are fully met and that they are satisfied with the service provided.

  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software.

  • Provide guidance and training to end-users on the use of various software applications and IT systems.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with new technologies and best practices in IT support.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in IT or a related field, preferred.

  • Previous experience in a technical support or IT help desk role.

  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
