Description We are offering a contract for a Medical Receptionist role in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. This role involves a variety of duties within the healthcare industry such as managing phone lines, organizing appointments, and handling insurance-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments

• Schedule patient appointments in a timely and organized manner

• Verify medical insurance details of patients and update records accordingly

• Handle prior authorizations for patients as required

• Perform receptionist duties, providing excellent service to patients and staff alike

• Ensure all patient data is accurately recorded and maintained

• Liaise with insurance companies as needed to clarify coverage and procedures

• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously

• Uphold patient confidentiality at all times, adhering to all privacy laws and regulations

• Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the medical facility. Requirements • Possession of skills related to Medical Insurance Verification, crucial for confirming patient coverage and benefits.

• Familiarity with Prior Authorizations processes, vital for ensuring necessary treatments are covered by insurance.

• Proficiency in Patient Scheduling, necessary for managing doctor and patient appointments effectively.
