Description Robert Half is looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to fill an exciting role. If you are a self-starter and want to grow your career, this position could be the perfect fit! The Sales Assistant is a long-term contract / temporary to hire position based in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Major responsibilities
Supplying superior customer service, maintaining a kind and professional manner
Preparing sales reports and presentations
Administering and arranging training courses for internal employees
Assisting with preparations for trade shows and conventions and attending them
Aiding the sales department with the promotion of company products and services
Handling additional Sales Assistant-related duties as assigned
Writing communications and proofreading materials
Making arrangements related to travel and meetings
Assisting sales teams with administrative, technical and clerical tasks
Supporting efforts to coordinate orders and ensuring completion of process Requirements - Superb social skills, experience with project coordination, and capable of working well with staff at all levels and outside clients and vendors
Demonstrated knowledge of Display Advertising
Deep understanding of Retail Sales
Adeptness in Cash Drawers
Inside sales experience
General familiarity with Re-stocking
Foundational knowledge in Sales Professionals
Sales Quotes experience highly desired
Knowledge of Promotional Sales
Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills required
2+ years of Sales Assistant experience preferred
Preferred education is a BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field
- Comprehension of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
