Description
There is an opportunity with a terrific IT company for a full-time Staff Accountant. This Little Rock, Arkansas area-based position is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity to work for a company that recognizes and rewards hard work. If you have the ability to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close, you will be preferred for this position. In this role, you will participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. You will be preferred for this role if you have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.
The salary range will be $65,000 -$75,000 DOE, along with phenomenal benefits and bonus opportunities!

What you get to do every single day
Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules
Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks
In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts
Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested
Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting
Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation
Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP
Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers
Survey and organize various financial data, reporting it in a useful and understandable manner
Perform the month end close and produce journal entries under minimal supervision
Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries
Take part in various department-wide initiatives
Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll
Requirements - Foundational knowledge in Leadership
Deep understanding of financial reporting
Annual Financial Reporting experience preferred
Compliance experience
Solid understanding of month end closings
Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
10+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Proficient in ERP systems
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Vow to meet business deadlines
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
