Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public in the CPA Firm industry, based in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role involves managing tax related functions in a public setting and utilizing various accounting software systems.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all tax-related operations.
• Utilize accounting software systems for tax management and operations.
• Collaborate with ADP - Financial Services for financial management.
• Use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax for various tax functions.
• Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business process management.
• Handle all accounting functions and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform auditing tasks to maintain financial transparency.
• Manage compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee entity formation and ensure its alignment with tax laws.
• Handle income tax accounting and ensure accuracy in records. Requirements
• Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems.
• Knowledge and experience in using CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
• Ability to manage all accounting functions effectively.
• Previous experience in auditing is required.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and procedures.
• Experience in Entity Formation.
• Proficiency in Income Tax Accounting.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
