Description Trial Assistant needed for local law firm! As a Trial assistant you will be responsible for gathering information from clients, insurance companies, and medical providers and arranging that information into legal documentation used for trial/ court cases. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and any legal data base software, Prior Legal experience and/or familiarity with legal terminology, Personal Injury/Civil experience is preferred over Criminal,
Familiarity with and experience in dealing with medical records, Ability to understand and apply provisions of Auto Insurance policies, Ability to arrange priorities and work on different projects at the same time, Ability to work closely and respectfully with other Attorneys, Insurance Company personnel, and Medical Providers, Freedom to attend trials that sometimes involve overnight travel or late-night attendance.
