Robert Half Weekend Customer Service Representative in Little Rock, Arkansas

Description Local Logistics company is seeking a Weekend Customer Service Representative to join their growing team! Responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by representing excellent communication abilities and data entry skills. Customer Service Representative is responsible for all work done in accordance with company policies. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving client issues, complaints and inquiries, keeping client satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

Duties and responsibilities

• Communicating with customers by receiving/placing telephone calls or emails pertaining to loads carried.

• Manage the coordination of product deliveries; liaise with clients, and drivers to execute effective scheduling and coordination of timely service.

• Process Add/Cancel/Change tenders and communicate any rate changes to Pricing

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers and occasionally drivers; effectively manage issues and complaints to resolution; escalating to supervisor as necessary

• Become proficient with the McLeod order entry module.

• Make time sensitive updates via the customers’ online portals

• Other duties as dictated by business need and assigned by a manager

• Work schedule flexibility. Ability to work nights, weekends and/or holidays- Schedule is 6am to 6pm Friday through Monday

· Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrates respect for all departments, including management, employees and customers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Demonstrates great time management skills

• Able to work independently in a very fast-paced, high-volume work environment and effectively manage quickly changing priorities

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred

• Experience in the trucking industry and/or experience in a client-facing role is a plus Requirements - Excellent computer skills

  • Comfort in pursuing resolutions to complicated customer inquiries using complex research methods

  • Supportive, positive attitude with a professional demeanour applied to all tasks

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Customer service experience desired

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

  • Microsoft Word experience

  • Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

  • Strong customer service and office administrative skills

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills

    • Proven knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
  • 2+ years of past relevant experience
