Description
We are looking for a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in Livermore, California. This role involves supporting the AP/AR staff, creating purchase orders, and researching missing invoices. You will be working with a diverse team and using their software to fulfill your responsibilities. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Support AP/AR staff with daily tasks
• Create and manage purchase orders
• Research AP invoices for missing purchase orders
• Update purchase orders as needed
• Communicate effectively with field management team and other stakeholders
• Enter invoices and match them to active jobs
• Work with the accounting team to resolve any issues related to purchase orders
• Provide customer service by resolving credit inquiries
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments
• Maintain accurate customer credit records.
Requirements
• Proficient in handling Purchase Orders
• Capable of accurately entering invoices
• Possesses strong data entry skills
• Demonstrates excellent customer service abilities
• Has experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
• Proficient in computer software related to accounting
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
