Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Administrator to join our construction team. As a Contract Administrator, you will manage and oversee contract administration activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Ensure contracts are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Monitor contract performance and ensure all terms and conditions are met
Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation
Resolve contract disputes and issues in a timely manner
Coordinate with project managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to address contract-related matters
Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals
Provide guidance on contract administration policies and procedures
Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
Ensure timely and accurate billing and payments according to contract terms
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, law, or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the construction industry
Strong understanding of contract law and construction industry standards
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
