Robert Half E-Commerce Account Manager in Livermore, California


E-Commerce Account Manager - The position is located in Livermore, CA


· Manage all aspects of the key customer relationship with vendor managers, buyers & supply chain reps of large online retailers

· Manage our product catalog on assigned e-commerce platforms

· Manage pricing, advertising, and product promotions on assigned e-commerce platforms

· Negotiate annual contracts for assigned customers

· Define and implement internal process and systems solutions to execute and facilitate strategic customer initiatives

· Provide oversight to inbound order flow, product availability, and outbound order fulfillment while ensuring maximum order fill rates

· Manage all aspects of revenue and profitability for assigned customer accounts

· Ensure that all operational performance metrics for assigned customer accounts are within target range

· Collaborate internally with accounting, logistics, order processing, order fulfillment, supply chain, and IS/IT functions

· Act as single point of contact for assigned customers and act as primary liaison to manage tactical execution and escalations as needed

· Support the new customer acquisition process and lead the launch of new customer accounts

· Prepare periodic account reviews and participate in periodic business reviews with assigned customers

· Some experiences in marketing/social media will be a plus

· Minimal travel may occasionally be required



· 5-7 yrs of hard goods account management experience in a fast-paced e-commerce environment

· Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, marketing, or other relevant discipline required

· Minimum 5+ yrs customer account/program management experience with primary responsibility for managing large online retailers

· Understanding of supply chain and fulfillment methods

· Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel

· Problem solving skills to define solutions that simultaneously protect the company, and a passion for delighting the customers.

· Action-oriented team player with a bias for collaboration across functional barriers

· Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, marketing, or other relevant discipline required

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and all functional areas
