Robert Half Help Desk Analyst I in Livingston, California

Description We are in the manufacturing industry, located in Livingston, California, and we're offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I. In this role, you'll act as the first line of support for users encountering issues with IT systems. This position is an integral part of our team, ensuring smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for users experiencing problems with IT systems.

• Answer user questions about IT systems in a clear and understandable manner.

• Troubleshoot basic technical issues, utilizing a variety of problem-solving techniques.

• Escalate complex issues to higher level support tiers as necessary.

• Document all user interactions and issue resolutions in detail.

• Manage support tickets, ensuring they are responded to in a timely manner.

• Communicate effectively with users, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.

• Utilize knowledge of desktop hardware and basic office skills to resolve issues.

• Support applications and computer hardware systems as needed.

• Work collaboratively with all shift times, ensuring continuous support coverage. Requirements • Must possess skills in handling Support Tickets.

• Strong knowledge of Desktop Hardware required.

• Basic Office Skills are necessary for this role.

• Proficiency in MS Office suite is a must.

• Knowledge and understanding of Computer Hardware is essential.

• Experience in Application Support will be advantageous.

• Must have a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Must have problem-solving abilities and demonstrate initiative.

• Experience in the manufacturing industry would be considered an asset.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
