Robert Half Vice President of Human Resources in Livingston, New Jersey

Description

A busy company in the Livingston area is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join their team. This Vice President of Human Resources will get the opportunity to build out the human resources department for a growing pharmaceutical company. This Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for strategic planning, managing people operation, and partnering with the leadership team to elevate the overall company growth and performance. The ideal Vice President of Human Resources will come from the pharmaceutical industry, be SHRM certified (only a plus), and have a proven background in growing, implementing, and building out HR departments. Other responsibilities of this Vice President of Human Resources will include but not be limited to:

Providing strategic vision/direction for the human resources department

Participating in business planning and strategic direction (organizational structure, recruiting & diversity, employee engagement, retention, etc.)

Developing and implement policies, processes, training, and initiatives to support the organization HR compliance and strategy

Overseeing administration of human resource programs (compensation, benefits, leave, etc.)

Identifying key performance indicators

Providing guidance and leadership to the HR team

Facilitating professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff

Conducting research and analysis of organizational trends

Monitoring/ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources is required

This Vice President of Human Resources position is paying between $200,000 and $250,000 annually depending on experience. If interested in this Vice President of Human Resources role apply today!

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Master's in Human Resources Management or relevant field highly preferred

SHRM, PHR, or SPHR a plus

Minimum of 10+ years of human resources management experience

Building/Implementing HR and people operation strategy required
