Description Accounting Manager candidates who are practical and have a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures will find this position to be a good fit! Candidates who can take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties, will be preferred for this Accounting Manager position with a burgeoning, innovative company. What you get to do every day
Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials
Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Senior Accountant
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met
Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures Requirements - Recent relevant financial experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
CPA/MBA preferred
Month end closings experience
Microsoft Excel experience
Proven knowledge of Process Improvement
Experience with Full Cycle Accounting
Consolidated Financial Statements experience preferred
SAP experience desired
Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
Solid technical skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
