Description
Are you a skilled System Administrator looking for a change? If so, please keep reading! We have a well-established client looking to hire a System Administrator to join their team in Lodi, CA. This is a direct hire, on-site role offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of both local and cloud-based systems, including managing servers. Your role will include system migrations, security audits, and performance monitoring, all while ensuring that IT policies and industry best practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, maintain, and support servers, both cloud-based (Azure) and on-premises.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance on all company systems.
Manage user accounts and permissions to ensure proper access to systems and data.
Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT resources.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and processes.
Ensure data integrity by managing backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure strategies and improvements.
Requirements
Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in system administration, managing both on-prem and cloud-based systems.
Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 and Microsoft 365.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (2+ years preferred).
Familiarity with identity and access management systems and tools.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
