This role's primary duties will consist of implementing financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Other daily assignments will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. Your responsibilities in this role
An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support
Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources
Drive P& L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are executed properly
Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks
Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes
Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Compile and supervise forecasting reports Requirements - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is a plus
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience suggested)
3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Command of Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
Solid understanding of Analyze Financial Statements
Strong familiarity with Annual Financial Reporting
