Description We are looking for a Bookkeeper with a background in accounting, who is fond of group work and enjoys relating to other people. Available as a long-term contract / temporary position, this Bookkeeper role is located in the Londonderry, New Hampshire area. Robert Half is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with excellent communication and organizational skills to join a dynamic, growing company. Be sure to learn more about this role! Your responsibilities in this role
Maintain quality historical records by filing documents
Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Oversee and manage general ledger
Settle accounts by reconciling entries
Examine payments received and record deposits
Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information Requirements - Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred
General ledger experience
QuickBooks experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Prior experience using accounting software
