Description
Robert Half has partnered with a consumer products company in Lone Tree that is looking to add a Cost Accounting Manager to their team! The Cost Accounting Manager position is offering a hybrid work schedule after training and is paying $100,000-$120,000 + bonus!
The Cost Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:
Assists in managing the financial programs and supporting information systems of the accounting department, to include budgeting, receipt of revenue, expenditure of funds, and conservation of assets.
Assists in maintaining financial records systems in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Implements processing of revenues (accounts receivable), expenditures (accounts payable), payroll, general ledger and the maintenance of accounts and sub-ledgers, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures, and ensures maintenance of appropriate internal control safeguards.
Maintains tracking of assets and liabilities.
Initiates bank transactions, including ACH, EFT, wire payments and intercompany transfers.
Coordinates the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
Prepares monthly forecast spreadsheet for company financial review via conference call.
Works with tax accountants to produce annual tax returns.
Works with outside accounting firm to produce annual reviewed financial statements.
Assists with bank audits.
Back-up for payroll processing.
Requirements for the Cost Accounting Manager include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
6+ years of accounting experience
Manufacturing/cost accounting experience
2+ years of supervisory experience
Inventory experience
