Robert Half HR Generalist in LONETREE, Colorado
Description If you have a passion for Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has a great opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. This role involves various HR duties, including recruiting, owning new hire orientation, managing the employee handbook, and handling employee relations.
Manage employee relations, which may include finding new ways to engage employees or coordinating sensitive conversations
Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department
Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters
Create & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections
Collaborate with other HR team members to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees
Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures
Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite
Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews
Collaborate with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors
Draft templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook
Evaluate employee performance, including appraising pay scales, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary) Requirements - Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Prior HR Generalist experience preferred
Proven understanding local, state and federal laws
Excellent written and verbal business skills
Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
Full cycle recruiting experience
- This role needs to be highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
Prior experience implementing and coordinating Open Enrollment is a plus
B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis
Proficient with social media platforms as well as office computer applications and software
