Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the manufacturing industry, based in Long Beach, California. The role entails meticulous data management, customer service, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth processing of customer applications and efficient order management.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter day-to-day invoices and ensure validity of order entries through thorough review of EDI and PDF copies
• Carry out order entry tasks including RMA and Freight Chart activities
• Efficiently handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high customer service standards
• Organize and maintain customer credit records with precision, utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Monitor customer accounts and carry out appropriate actions to ensure account health
• Collaborate effectively with the Order Management team to carry out assigned tasks
• Utilize 10 Key Skills for performing calculations and data entry tasks
• Employ excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and effective communication with customers
• Use Microsoft Excel skills for advanced data organization and analysis
• Handle email correspondence professionally and promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient communication. Requirements • Minimum of one year experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in data entry and typing skills
• Excellent knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to perform calculations accurately
• Experience in organizing files and scanning documents
• Strong customer service skills and ability to correspond professionally via email
• Proficiency in 10 Key Skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
