Robert Half Property Administrator in Long Beach, California

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Property Administrator in Long Beach, California, with a focus on real estate and leasing. This role involves overseeing various aspects of property management such as advertising, leasing, and property inspections. The candidate will also be expected to maintain open communication with Property Managers and Maintenance staff, and ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules.

Responsibilities:

• Foster a positive attitude and maintain open communication with Property Managers and Maintenance staff.

• Engage in continuous training to stay compliant with new or existing laws.

• Assist in marketing efforts such as placing, removing, or updating property advertisements.

• Handle prospective client inquiries, provide property and community information, and schedule property visits.

• Oversee the completion of lease agreements and secure deposits in accordance with company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.

• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather information about market competition in the area.

• Ensure leasing of the property under acceptable and pre-determined conditions.

• Maintain an accurate and thorough knowledge of all aspects of the property, particularly in areas like leasing and pricing information, availability, expiration of leasing contracts, and property sizes.

• Conduct property inspections using AppFolio software, take advertisement photos and post online, submit work orders as needed.

• Ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules. Requirements • Must have at least 1 year of experience in property administration or a related role

• Proficiency in real estate leasing and understanding of lease agreements, contracts, and documents

• Experience as a leasing consultant, particularly in the equipment leasing industry

• Knowledgeable in real estate, with a focus on residential properties

• Must understand and be able to execute lease administration tasks

• Familiarity with real estate leases is required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
