Robert Half International Full Charge Bookkeeper in LONGMONT, Colorado

Description

There is an urgent need for a Part Time Full Charge Bookkeeper to administer month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Via Robert Half Finance and Accounting, our client is seeking a full-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team in the Longmont, Colorado area. What you get to do every single day

  • Draw up cash flow projections, as needed

  • File budget transfers

  • More tasks as requested

  • Keep sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Update Accounts Payable

  • Familiar with Accounts Receivable

  • Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together

  • Supervise monthly accounting close

  • Report business license and gross receipts

  • Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Assemble cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

    Requirements - Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

    • Significant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

  • General familiarity with Balance Sheet Reconciliation

  • Adeptness in account reconciliation

  • Account reconciliation experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

  • Background working with commissions

  • Journal entries experience preferred

  • Practical knowledge of Bank Account Reconciliation

  • Earlier work involving Financial Statement

  • Bank reconciliations experience highly preferred

  • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

    • 10+ years of related experience- Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
