Description
A company in Sun Valley is seeking a highly organized and motivated Accounting Assistant. In this role, you will provide critical support to the accounting department by performing a variety of essential tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records, while assisting with various accounting functions. You MUST be able to work FULLY ONISTE!
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and receivable, including entering invoices, managing payments, and maintaining vendor/customer relationships
Assist with general ledger maintenance, recording financial transactions, and reconciling accounts
Prepare and maintain financial reports and assist with month-end closing procedures
Manage accounts payable processes, including creating purchase orders and processing payments
Assist with payroll processing and tax reporting (as needed)
Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role or relevant experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
