Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Los Angeles, California

Description We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor for our team based in Los Angeles, California. This individual will be responsible for a range of duties related to financial administration and supervision. This includes managing cash flow, overseeing outgoing wires, coordinating with various staff and departments, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily cash flow and advise on financial needs as required

• Initiate and approve outgoing wire transfers, including payments to overseas factories, staff, and vendors

• Review and approve disbursement checks prepared by accounting staff

• Coordinate with the sourcing department regarding weekly wires to overseas locations and due invoice selection

• Ensure all wires and ACHs are accurately recorded in the system

• Oversee the renewal of necessary licenses and registrations, including city licenses and sales tax registrations

• Manage various audits, including annual WC audits, 401K audits, sales audits, and inventory appraisal audits

• Submit monthly FG Inventory Certificate to appropriate parties and reconcile monthly ending FG Report totals

• Utilize various accounting software systems, such as ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, and Great Plains (GPAC)

• Perform various accounting functions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), auditing, billing functions, and financial statement preparation. Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor or a similar position.

• Proficient in the use of Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiar with ADP - Financial Services.

• Practical knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is required.

• Must be able to perform all Accounting Functions efficiently.

• Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Familiarity with auditing procedures and practices.

• Experience in managing Billing Functions.

• Ability to prepare and present Consolidated Financial Statements.

• Must be skilled in Financial Statement Preparation.
