Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Associate to augment our Travel and Expense team in Los Angeles. The incumbent will work closely with the T& E Manager and will be responsible for processing daily expense reports. A detail-focused approach, critical thinking skills, and experience with the Concur platform are vital. The role also involves providing reports as and when required.
Key Duties:
Expense Processing: Review and process travel expense reports and procurement card reports of employees using the Concur Travel and Expense platform.
On-Site Collaboration: Ensure that employees submit reports promptly and comply with travel & expense policies. Assist users with non-compliant reports in person. Presence on-site is mandatory for three days a week, but there may be additional requirements as needed.
Follow-Up: Track down past-due expense reports and missing receipts from employees.
Employee Guidance: Educate staff on the firm's travel and expense policies and proficient use of the Concur system.
Support and Query Handling: Respond to employee inquiries via different communication channels like email, instant message, and phone calls.
Process Enhancement: Pinpoint opportunities for enhancing expense report processing efficiencies.
Month-End Close Support: Assist with various month-end close activities.
Reporting: Keep management updated about daily issues and their resolution.
P-Card Verification: Aid the team in the validation of P Cards and track down cardholders for missing receipts and unsubmitted reports as required.
Requirements
This role requires previous Accounts Payable experience and demonstrated knowledge of Concur.
