Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Los Angeles, California
Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be stepping in to replace the current AP consultant and will be responsible for handling up to 250 invoices a week, along with other accounting and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Processing and coding invoices in a timely and accurate manner using Concur.
• Ensuring all invoices are correctly entered and paid promptly.
• Taking over the responsibilities of the current AP consultant and ensuring a smooth transition.
• Assisting with other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
• Adapting to a hybrid work schedule with on-site presence required on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and remote work on Monday and Friday. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Concur
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficient in coding invoices
• Ability to accurately enter invoices
• Experience in managing invoice payment
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
