Robert Half Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in Los Angeles, California

Description We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in the Textile Manufacturing industry. Based in Los Angeles, California, this role involves leading the Accounts Payable team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide the Accounts Payable team, providing necessary training and conducting performance evaluations.

• Ensure invoices, expense reports, and payments are processed accurately and on time in compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Review and approve invoices, checking for appropriate coding, documentation, and authorization before processing payment.

• Manage vendor relationships, respond to inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate favorable payment terms when applicable.

• Monitor and maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions, including maintaining vendor files, payment history, and supporting documentation.

• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate accruals, month-end closing, and financial reporting related to accounts payable.

• Develop and implement process enhancements to optimize Accounts Payable procedures and improve overall efficiency.

• Assist management by providing support in various projects and performing ad hoc financial analysis upon request.

• Provide support during internal and external audits, assisting in the preparation of audit schedules and addressing audit queries.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Concur, Data Processing, ERP Solutions, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Processing, Discrepancy, and Expense Reporting. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role within the Textile Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Concur software

• Proficient in Data Processing

• Knowledge and experience with ERP Solutions

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Skills in Check Processing

• Ability to handle Discrepancy issues

• Proficiency in Expense Reporting.
