Robert Half Administrative Coordinator in Los Angeles, California

Description We are looking for a diligent Administrative Coordinator to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in Los Angeles, California. Your role will be centered on managing recruitment activities, maintaining accurate applicant records, and coordinating communication within the recruitment process. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for all recruitment-related activities.

• Develop and manage applicant sources through research, networking, community services, colleges, employment agencies, and online platforms.

• Review job requisitions for accuracy and ensure applicant requirements are clearly communicated.

• Attract applicants by advertising job openings, using both internal and external job sites.

• Assess applicant qualifications by conducting pre-screening processes and interviews, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.

• Coordinate management interviews by scheduling, arranging interview locations, and accompanying applicants to interviews.

• Maintain, update, and record candidate information in the Applicant database.

• Facilitate all pre-employment aspects including background checks, health screenings, and educational verifications.

• Assist with updating internship tracking and maintain accurate records of all volunteers within the organization.

• Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field

• Minimum of two years experience in an administrative role, preferably within a non-profit organization

• Proven experience in campus recruiting and talent acquisition

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Demonstrated commitment to the values and mission of the non-profit sector

• Familiarity with non-profit organizational operations and procedures

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.
