Description A well-respected Robert Half client is seeking an interim Senior Auditor to join the company.This contract basis position will be responsible for the efficient completion of accurate audits and maintaining a level of auditing quality and financial accuracy for the organization.
Your responsibilities in this role
Assemble audit reports and present issues to the business while discussing practical cross-functional solutions
Follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit issues
Under the supervision of the Internal Audit Manager, execute compliance, operational or financial audits
Contribute to the creation of the annual internal audit plan and internal audit management
Complete assigned audits within budgeted costs, and budgeted timeframes Requirements - Must have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment
Proven success acting in a project management capacity
CPA designation or equivalent, CIA or MBA designation highly preferred
Bachelor degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting required
Strong knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), COSO framework and risk assessment practices
6+ years of relevant public accounting or industry experience
Demonstrated ability to stay unbiased in a diverse working environment
