We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Data Reporting Analyst in Los Angeles, California. The selected candidate will be involved in various aspects of data reporting, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of business requirements, report design and formatting, data validation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role will also extend to maintaining documentation and establishing automation in data reporting functions, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements for reporting needs.

• Design and format reports to meet business standards and needs.

• Validate report data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Maintain and organize all reporting processes and documentation.

• Establish automation and efficiencies around data and reporting functions.

• Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) platform skills to develop advanced data flows and consolidated dashboards/reports for presentations.

• Create templates for data dashboards/reports, enhancing consistency and clarity across data visualizations.

• Use knowledge of programming languages to work with data teams to query, structure, and model data for use in dashboards/reports.

• Drive business insights through the development of descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive reporting.

• Mentor less experienced team members in the use of dashboard/report templates, data visualization best practices and facilitate learning opportunities.

• Work with business partners to conduct dashboard/report testing and recommend refinements.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting

• Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript for database management and development

• Knowledge of Oracle and other popular database systems

• Ability to design and implement best practices for data management procedures

• Experience in documenting processes and procedures for future reference

• Understanding of compliance and regulation in data management

• Proficiency in using monitoring tools and identifying discrepancies in data

• Ability to create detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders

• Experience with automation in data reporting and analysis

• Ability to support workstation and ensure security of data and systems

• Understanding of benefit functions and check processing systems

• Familiarity with progress tracking in a data-focused role

• Ability to handle queries related to data and reports

• Aptitude for providing workstation support and maintaining security measures
