Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer in Los Angeles, California. The role involves working within the technology industry, focusing predominantly on tasks such as maintaining and troubleshooting a data lake, as well as engaging with SQL, Snowflake, and ETL. The workplace setting is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring an individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of cloud technologies, data visualization, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Leveraging SQL and Snowflake to maintain and troubleshoot our data lake
• Processing and managing customer data with accuracy and efficiency
• Utilizing ETL - Extract Transform Load to handle large sets of data
• Developing and maintaining API to facilitate data exchange and integration
• Implementing algorithms to analyze complex data sets and drive business decision making
• Utilizing AWS technologies to manage and store data
• Applying data visualization skills to present data in a comprehensible way
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data through continuous monitoring and updating
• Utilizing analytics to interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets
• Collaborating with other team members to achieve company objectives and improve data systems and processes.

Requirements
Top Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies.
• Experience in data visualization and the ability to communicate data-driven insights.
• Ability to implement complex algorithms.
• Solid understanding of analytics and the ability to translate data into business insights.
• Experience in API development.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
