Robert Half Data Entry Clerk in Los Angeles, California
Description
A business funding company in the Mid-Wilshire area is hiring a Data Entry Clerk on a contract-to-hire basis. As the Data Entry Clerk, you will work with small business owners to assist with funding. You will be responsible for reviewing potential client applications, entering information into proprietary database, and processing data for new customers. This role will require several weeks of training. This role is best for someone who enjoys working independently and enjoys repetitive duties.
The ideal candidate will be degreed with 1-2 years of experience. This is a fully onsite position in Los Angeles with hours being Monday - Friday 8-5PM with one Saturday of overtime required per month. Pay is $23/hr, based on experience. Once full-time, pay is $50k + commission.
Requirements • Proficient in data entry and related software.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of office equipment and procedures.
• Basic understanding of databases.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational level.
• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Good typing speed with high level of accuracy.
